Escapetor got radio-play on NRK P3 Pyro - the number one metal-music show in Norway! Thanks for supporting "promising new Norwegian Metal" (which was the words used to introduce "Suffocate" from Misanthropia).

Escapetor´s Matsi & Raggi visited the ThisIsMetal crew for an interview. ThisIsMetal is a new and upcoming podcast on everything related to Metal and madness in general. The podcast will be available from ThisIsMetal on Sunday January 24th.

Escapetor will emphasize our support for this initiative and we will hopefully see a ThisIsMetal festival in Stavanger. Stavanger needs a metal arena, like the ones in Bergen, Kristiansand, Oslo, Aarhus, Gothenburg etc. We will be there supporting local metal music, and YOU should too!

Escapetor @ Zoom 2010

Escapetor will attend Zoom 2010 at Checkpoint Charlie in Stavanger on Wednesday January 13th. The show starts at 20.30. Zoom in an initiative by NRK P3 Urort.

Escapetor back in studio

Escapetor have played a number of concerts this year, and the recent concert in Arendal was the last concert planned for 2009. If nothing unexpected surfaces, the next public appearance is at Rush in Stavanger, February 12th 2010.

In the mean time, Escapetor will spend the next 4 months in the studio, working on both new and old material. We hope to release a record during the first 6 months of 2010, and we also have planned a little bonus release for Escapetor's upcoming 10 year anniversary in December 2009...

Escapetor in Arendal, RocktoberFest 2009

Escapetor had a great gig in Arendal. Thanks to Arendal Rock Klubb for booking us, and thanks for a great festival.

Line-up change

Ole Egeli, lead guitarist in Escapetor since May 2008 has decided to leave Escapetor. Ole has the past year been working on a project, Zypher, which is about to materialize into something which will require his full attention.

Escapetor whishes Ole the best of luck with his new project, and also a great big Thanks! for Ole's significant contribution to Escapetor during the past year.

Escapetor had a great gig at Southern Discomfort. A great big thanks to everyone who was there and made it an awsome experience.

"Misanthropia", re-released

We are proud to announce the re-release of "Misanthropia", first released back in April 2009. The new release celebrates Escapetors new logo and new graphic profile. The record also have an additional track, "Spread the News", recorded live April 2009 at Tribute.

Great place to play, a good audience and a tight gig made a good night for Escapetor. We sure hope to visit Pakkhuset again, and then have even more people come and see us.

A new logo and cover-art has been in progress since July, and despite that the logo has been available in public for more than a month, Escapetor officially launches its new graphic profile

Stevens Rock Fest

Escapetor was invited to play an exclusice concert at Hellvik, for a private birthday rock festival. We got the oportunity to try out a couple of new songs and prepare for the upcoming gigs in August and September.
